All Formatting should be reduced to a minimum to facilitate the layout process. Please do not use page headers and de-activate automatic hyphenation. Paragraphs should be separated by a blank line.

Headlines and sub-headlines are continuously numbered in Arabic numerals (1., 1.1., 2., etc.). Please use Title Capitalization.

Please italicize work titles (e. g. monographs, journal titles), foreign language expressions (e. g. par excellence) and terms you would like to emphasize. Quotations should not be italicized. Please indicate the titles of journal articles etc. by using single quotation marks in the main text body.

Quotations should be given in the original language of the source. »Direct quotations are indicated by double quotation marks and ›quotations within quotations‹ only use single quotation marks.« Quotations that are longer than three manuscript lines are indented and do not need quotation marks. Quotations in verse are always to be indented.

Please use as few footnotes as possible and avoid extensively long footnotes. Please use the automatic footnote management of your text processing programme. Footnotes are labelled continuously using Arabic numerals. Footnote marks succeed punctuation marks.

References to the publication under review should be given in the main text body and not within footnotes, e.g. (56); (55 f.); (cf. 55-57).
